Death, where is thy sting?

"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."Psalms 116:15

"The righteous perish,
and no one ponders it in his heart;
devout men are taken away,
and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
to be spared from evil.

Those who walk uprightly
enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death.
"
Isaiah 57:1-2

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:17

"I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."Romans 8:18

  1. Unfortunately, our paradigm on life and death tends to get completely shoved out of the way when any sort of excitement comes about...you suddenly find yourself worrying about who is going to do what, and where.

    I think I strayed a bit off topic from the original subject...but it correlated slightly and I needed to get it off my chest. Thanks.
